|WHAT: Nashville Zoo is opening the doors to the HCA Healthcare Veterinary Center to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 8 at 9:30 a.m. An 8-year project in the making, this 23,000+-square-foot facility stands out as one of the best animal hospitals in the country. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, vet staff will conduct an annual physical exam on Fern, one of our two-toed sloths. Media will be allowed inside the vet center at 10:15 a.m. to cover the exam.|
