FRANKLIN, Tenn. (Dec. 19, 2016) – As part of the 19th annual Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl festivities, Franklin American Mortgage is proud to present a special appearance by country music superstars Montgomery Gentry at this year’s Battle of the Bands. Cheerleaders and marching bands from both competing schools will also perform. This free event is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29 on the stage at the intersection of 1st/2nd Ave. and Broadway.
The annual concert and pep rally builds fan excitement centered around the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl. This year’s matchup features the Nebraska Cornhuskers taking on the Tennessee Volunteers on Friday, Dec. 30 at 2:30 p.m. at Nissan Stadium.
“We both love college football and we’re going to get everybody pumped up for the big game here in Nashville,” said Troy Gentry. “Nebraska and Tennessee are football powerhouses and we can’t wait to bring it for their fans. Broadway is going to be rockin’!” Eddie Montgomery added.
