In celebration of the Jack Daniel Distillery’s 150th anniversary, DVL Seigenthaler helped plan the ringing of the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange on June 21. A DVL Seigenthaler client since 1988, Jack Daniel’s is a key brand of NYSE-listed Brown-Forman. Members of the Jack Daniel’s global brand team and distillery and cooperage employees joined Mark McCallum, president of Jack Daniel’s, on the podium as he rang the bell to commemorate the milestone. McCallum and Master Distiller Jeff Arnett were interviewed live on the trading floor by FoxBusiness.com, TheStreet and Cheddar TV.
Planning for the event included creating artwork for interior and exterior signage at the New York Stock Exchange, developing interview talking points for brand spokespeople, as well as scheduling media interviews and arranging a media tasting with top-tier journalists while in New York City.
Jeff Arnett was interviewed by Wall Street Journal, Fortune Magazine, Business Insider and several SiriusXM radio shows to talk about the special anniversary and the history of the brand, and hosted media from outlets such as Vice Magazine, Popular Mechanics, Bloomberg and Cheers at a private media tasting.
DVL Seigenthaler was honored to be charged with planning such a special event that made for a few very productive days for representatives of the brand, resulting in millions of media impressions.
