Nearly 100,000 Square Foot Culinary and Entertainment Destination to Anchor Former Convention Center Site
Nashville, Tenn. (Feb. 1, 2018) – A vibrant and expansive Food Hall – showcasing the culinary talents of dozens of the region’s chefs, restaurateurs and entrepreneurs – will be the anchor tenant of Fifth + Broadway, resulting from a newly forged deal between The Food Hall Co. and property developer Oliver McMillan / Spectrum|Emery.
The Food Hall Co., a subsidiary of Front Burner Restaurants with 14 trend-setting concepts, is a leader in creating innovative European-style food halls which are today among the most in-demand dining destinations in the nation. The company’s multi-level Nashville Food Hall will bring together more than 30 locally concepted food stalls and cocktail bars, an onsite craft brewery and a rooftop venue that will feature local musical artists alongside epic views of the Ryman Auditorium.

The new Food Hall will become the central fixture of Fifth + Broadway, the transformative mixed-use development slated to open in 2020 at the site of the former Nashville Convention Center that will also be home to the National Museum of African American Music.
Architecturally, the Food Hall will span nearly 100,000 square feet on multiple levels of Fifth + Broadway including an expansive rooftop event and music venue. Uniquely poised for success, the project neighbors some of the top concert venues in the world, including the famous Ryman Auditorium and Bridgestone Arena, as well as Broadway’s Honky Tonks.
