DVL Seigenthaler CEO Ronald Roberts has been named the Nashville Sports Council’s chairman for the 2016-17 fiscal year. He has previously served in numerous roles with the Nashville Sports Council, most recently as the Public Relations Committee Chair and Marketing Chair for the 2016 NHL All-Star Game.
“As a long-term member, I know first-hand the important role the Nashville Sports Council plays in driving positive economic impact for the community,” said Roberts. “From the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl and the SEC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments to volunteer engagement and the Cooper Steel Speakers Series, the Nashville Sports Council is the driving force of sports in Middle Tennessee. The Nashville Sports Council is a private, non-profit, membership based organization of area corporations and individual sports enthusiasts. Throughout the years, it has hosted hundreds of major sporting events, yielding over $750 million in direct economic impact for Nashville and the surrounding areas.
