Mark is a public relations veteran with extensive experience in media relations, crisis communications, public affairs, event management, media training and community relations. He has worked for clients in the beverage, government, nonprofit, healthcare, telecommunications and sports industries. For nearly 30 years, he has worked closely with national and international media to drive client awareness and reputation.
He is a multi-year member of the Hands On Nashville Advisory Board.
Mark’s work on behalf of clients has garnered numerous industry Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) awards, as well as national recognition by the prestigious SABRE Awards.
A native Kentuckian, Mark lived in Washington, D.C., for 15 years while serving as former U.S. Senator Wendell Ford’s (D-Ky.) press secretary and later at Weber Shandwick/Powell Tate Strategic Communications & Public Affairs. He led a dedicated, 10-person media relations team supporting a diverse roster of clients from the White House to NASCAR.
